CIRAIG Professor Cécile Bulle was interviewed for the series Flattening the Curve of the Environmental Crisis presented by the Institut des sciences de l’environnement of UQAM.
Will we one day have a mobile application that will allow us to obtain information on the environmental footprint of a product before we buy it? This is what Cécile Bulle hopes for. Cécile is a professor in the Department of Strategy, Social and Environmental Responsibility and a specialist in life cycle analysis. Her research aims to evaluate the global impact of the product supply chain, from the extraction of raw materials to disposal, in order to better guide consumers towards more ecological choices. Already, the researcher is proposing two priority areas for action on reducing our personal footprint: car travel and food waste.
