The CIRAIG is seeking to fill a full-time position as Life Cycle Assessment Analyst for its Montreal office. The incumbent will carry out life cycle assessment applied to various sectors and issues, as well as other types of projects (research projects, development of tools and metrics, …) on the broader topic of sustainable development to support our partners in their sustainability approach.
Two postdoctoral positions are open to work on the sustainability of critical and strategic metals (CSMs) for the energy transition towards carbon neutrality.
On the agenda: study the trajectories of demand for metals in Canada and around the world, develop knowledge around large-scale prospective modeling tools (Integrated Assessment Models), refine the assessment of the environmental and social impacts of extraction and consumption of strategic and critical metals.
Postdoctoral fellowship « EEIO & CSM »: analysis and development of the assessment of the environmental impacts of CSM production with environmentally-extended input-output (EEIO) analysis.
