Lucie Leignier has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Institut National des Sciences Appliquées (France) and a master’s degree in sustainable design and manufacturing from Polytechnique Montréal (Canada). Her academic background has led her to develop knowledge in life cycle assessment (LCA). Lucie first worked as a sustainable development consultant, where she carried out environmental impact quantification studies (organizational greenhouse gas assessments, product life cycle analyses, environmental product declarations). She also supported organizations in their decarbonization strategy and in their overall sustainable development strategy.

Lucie joined CIRAIG in 2024 as an analyst. She has conducted several studies in the transportation and digital sectors.
