Maxine is a PhD candidate in Environmental Sciences at ISE-UQAM since September 2025. She holds a Master’s degree in Management and Sustainable Development from HEC Montréal (2024), where she explored the relationships between Canadian mining companies and Indigenous communities from a managerial perspective. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal (2015) and has professional experience in geological exploration, project management, and risk management.
Her interests include decarbonization pathways, transition strategies, and the socio-economic dimensions that shape them. She is also interested in the role of technologies as well as in the potential of nature-based solutions to support balanced and sustainable approaches.
