Loïc Wermeille holds a Master’s degree in Energy Science and Technology from EPFL, where he specialized in energy modeling and planning. It was in this context that he discovered and developed his expertise in EnergyScope, a tool that sparked his interest in its deployment across different territorial scales, from cantons to municipalities, to support local energy planning.
He joined CIRAIG as an analyst, where he applies his expertise in energy modeling to industrial mandates, teaching activities, and research projects centered on EnergyScope. Based in Sion, at HES-SO Valais-Wallis, he works to translate the challenges of territorial energy transition into concrete modeling tools, in support of public and private stakeholders involved in local-scale energy planning.
