Ameed is pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal, where his research focuses on developing parametric Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) frameworks for polymer production and plastic packaging systems. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the American University of Beirut (2022). His academic interests include sustainable materials, polymer production pathways, eco-design methodologies, and the integration of flexible LCA tools into early-stage product development.

2022 – Tuck Foundation Scholarship at IFP School (€22,400 over 16 months, declined to pursue PhD at CIRAIG–Polytechnique Montréal)

2022 – ISAI Graduate Program Excellence Scholarship at Mines Paris – PSL (€10,000 over 10 months, declined to pursue PhD at CIRAIG–Polytechnique Montréal)

2020 – Lebanese International Finance Executives (LIFE) Scholarship (US$12,000 over two years) — American University of Beirut
