Polytechnique Montreal

Arthur Beteille holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the ENSIACET (France) as well as a M. Sc. A. in chemical engineering from Polytechnique Montréal, joining the CIRAIG team in 2022. His research work, under the supervision of Anne-Marie Boulay and Olivier Jolliet, was conducted on the quantification of micro- and nanoplastics (adverse) effects on human health, as a first step towards the inclusion of such impacts in LCIA methodologies.

Since September 2024, his PhD work now aims to broaden these results to provide characterisation factors for human toxicity of microplastics.
