After a decade-long career in accounting, Catherine returned to school to study environmental science, motivated by issues related to the future of the planet and a desire to better understand and respond to environmental pressures. She completed a master’s degree in 2024 on “Characterizing the impact of sea and coastal use on ecosystem quality in life cycle analysis, applied to aquaculture in the Thau lagoon”. She is currently continuing her work as part of a PhD in environmental science. Her research and personal interests focus mainly on biodiversity, marine environments, science communication, and reading.
