Georg Seitfudem

Education & interests:

Georg holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Stuttgart (Germany), with a focus on life cycle assessment and water-related engineering such as surface and groundwater modeling, wastewater treatment, and urban water management. His Master’s thesis, conducted in collaboration with CIRAIG, focused on the impact of different climate datasets and models on the AWARE method for water scarcity impact assessment. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at Polytechnique Montréal (Canada), where his research advances the AWARE method by integrating climate change and socioeconomic factors for prospective water scarcity impact assessment.
