Gustave Bertier holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the Charles Coulomb Laboratory at the University of Montpellier. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at École Polytechnique de Montréal. His research focuses on the life cycle analysis of plastics.
Under the supervision of Professor Anne-Marie Boulay, he is helping to improve models used to predict the generation of degradation and fragmentation products by plastics in natural environments. This project is funded by Cotton Inc.
