Susie holds a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from South China Agriculture University, as well as two master’s degrees from the University of Melbourne, one in Energy studies and the other in Environment. Susie obtained her PhD in Geography from Michigan State University. Susie possesses expertise in environmental life cycle assessment and corporate environmental and social responsibility. Susie has collaborated with scholars from various disciplines, taking an interdisciplinary approach to her research. Susie has applied qualitative and quantitative research methods and agent-based modeling to study sustainability at different scales. Susie has published over ten SCI papers as the first author, with citations of her research increasing exponentially, accumulating to over 2,000 by 2025.
